Real Self-Sustainable Development in Africa: An Analysis
This three page graduate paper examines real self-sustainable development in Africa. The author notes that upon analyzing present economic, political, social, and cultural conditions in Africa, it seems evident that most African states are destined to remain marginalized and exploited by external powers for at least the next fifteen to twenty years. Since the independence era, many African states have been tragically caught in a one-step forward, two steps back dilemma. Whenever initial progress appears to offer hope, internal or external factors emerge that restrict this progress and at times even introduce counterproductive forces that destroy stability and lead to conflict.
