Liberation and the Women's Movement in Jordan. This paper explores the past and present status of the women's rights movement in Jordan. This paper demonstrates that while Jordan has overtly created an environment in which women seem equal to men through political and social methods, there remains a serious gap between this overt equality and the way in which Jordan's female population actually lives.
