Early Christian Attitudes Towards Judaism in the Writings of Paul.
This paper will discuss Paul's writings as marking a pivotal moment in the development of Christianity, when Christians were attempting to define themselves with respect to both the Jewish culture and the broader Gentile society. It will be shown that the concept of "faith" was developed by Paul to effect a balance between these two cultures within the early Church. 8 pgs. 15 f/c. 6b.
