Violence, unfortunately, is a part of our everyday life. It can be as nonthreatening as someone flinging down a newspaper of some other object in momentary anger, or a life-threatening act involving weapons used against someone. In this paper, I will use Native Son, by Richard Wright and The Wretched of the Earth by Frantz Fanon to demonstrate how violence is so integrated into any society, and what its consequences are for both the person committing the violence and the victim. 10 pgs.
