The Media and the Judicial Process. This essay argues that the influence of the media can alter the judicial process and discusses examples from the O.J. Simpson trial, and the Thomas Blanton trial. The essay determines that the public does have a right to know about the criminal justice system in America; however, the media is responsible for providing information that elucidates the process without sensationalizing the trial or judicial proceedings.
