The Future of Correctional Leadership This paper shall discuss the issues that have become pertinent to correctional leadership. With the fast changing social circumstances and demands, the penal system no longer finds itself in such a secure social position. Consequently, prison leaders are beginning to understand that they must be able to respond critically and originally to changing historical forces have little precedent.
