Stereotypes and False Portraits. This simple descriptive essay reveals the truth about Arabs and Arab students and shows they differ very little from Americans. The world is getting smaller. Cultures are learning more and more about each other and people are beginning to understand different ways of living, but for every bit of knowledge gained about another culture there is still a shred of ignorance that needs to be replaced. False impressions abound, and nowhere are these false impressions more prevalent than in the American perception of the Arabian world.
