Microturbines This paper reports on the development and application of micro turbines, a new technology being offered as a way of addressing many of the energy needs of the future, allowing for businesses of various sizes to produce their own electricity and so reduce the burden on the power grid, and also seen as promising for use in vehicles, though the size of the current micro turbine means that such vehicles will have to be larger than the family car.
