Junction Field Effect Transistor

This paper considers the nature of the Junction Field Effect Transistor (JFET), how it works, the votage characteristics of the device, and how the votage is manifested in use. notng that the common transistor is known as a junction transistor, which has the disadvantage of a low input impedance given that the base of the transistor is the signal input and the base-emitter diode is forward biased, while another device achieves transistor action with the input diode junction reverse biased, and such a device is termed a "field effect transistor" or a "junction field effect transistor", or JFET.
