Using Art Assessment Critiques in Art Therapy This paper shall examine the usefulness of art assessment critiques in the practice of art therapy. To do so, art therapy and its methods will be briefly explained so as to find a place (or lack thereof) for assessment critiques. In the end, this analysis finds that such critiques are not ultimately useful or in the best interest of the patient engaged in art therapy.
