This paper will answer a series of questions on the early development of psychology, and how many theorists played a part in this new nineteenth century 'science' of the mind. By showing theories from Darwin, Fechner, Spencer, and others, we can learn how psychology came into being from the earliest times of Plato the philosopher to modern theories in psychology.
