This paper shall address the use of haloperidol in a hypothetical clinical setting. Specifically addressed is a patient that has been receiving haloperidol for treatment of schizophrenia who, according to family, is still experiencing the negative symptoms of the condition. A hypothetical response to the concerns of the patientÂ’s family is formulated.
