Eysencks Cognitive Theory of Anxiety Professor Michael Eysenck’s research has focused primarily on cognitive factors that can be associated with anxiety. “The notion that there are individual differences in attentional and interpretive biases applied to threatening stimuli is of central importance to his theorizing and research” (M. Eysenck 2003).
