Marijuana, Alcohol and Memory. A wide range of evidence, with reasonable consistency, indicates that alcohol use has deleterious effects on memory, both short- and long-term. With regard to cannabis abuse the evidence is less clear-cut. This paper begins by introducing models of memory and methods of memory assessment.
