Applied Research Study to Increase Number of Social Greetings
In this paper, we will target a behavior to increase in a student with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The behavior that we will choose to increase in our student is the number of social greetings. We would like to understand why a particular student does not, for instance say hello, or interact with the people around him, as much as we feel he is capable. We believe that, though his Autism is somewhat profound, he still has the capacity for more social interactions than he partakes in.
