The United States of America – On the Right Track. A recent poll indicated that most Americans believe that the country is not on the right track and is not moving in the right direction. Specific issues cited included the economy, as well as the way the country is handling international affairs. Politicians and those who study political affairs say that the results of this poll are important because they indicate that this is the most dissatisfied Americans have been in many years. However, a closer analysis indicates that America is on the right track. This paper takes the position that the United States of America is moving in the right direction, despite the fact that the polls indicate otherwise.
