The Foreign Policy of Nazi Germany. This paper looks at the foreign policy of Nazi Germany. The author believes that the Versailles Treaty had set the foundation for Nazi foreign policy, but anti-Semitism gave it its life. German humiliation in World War One and German anti-Semitism combined together to cause the rise of the Neo-Nazis and shape their foreign policy. It would be a diplomacy marked by a resentment that sought vengeance. In the climate of humiliation, that Germans believed they had suffered, the Nazis framed a foreign policy around nationalism and a thirst for revenge.
