The Conflict Between Palestine and Israel: Addressing Causes of Tension. The current situation in the Middle East is one of conflict, but nowhere is the conflict more consolidated than between Palestine and Israel. During the past two years, a state of tension that has existed for centuries has erupted in new violence, and the conflict that has manifest therein is only becoming worse.
