Rival Theories of Capitalism This three page undergraduate paper compares and contrasts neoclassical and radical theories of capitalism. It is evident that they both seek to maintain the most positive aspects of the free-market system while eliminating those aspects which they see as harmful and restrictive. In terms of these common goals, neo-classical capitalism favors adjusting the present system through Monetarist and Keynesian theories and globalization, while radical capitalism proposes more fundamental changes in the political and economic structure.
