Preserved Mushrooms from Chile and Determination of Sales at Less than Fair Value. This paper probes into this controversy, bringing to light the arguments forwarded by both the American industries harmed by the import of the Chilean product, and the exigencies of the Chilean mushroom producers. The deliberations of the International Trade Commission, along with the anti-dumping provisions of the World Trade Organization, are also brought to task. In the final analysis, it is made clear that the decision of the International Trade Commission was sound, based primarily on the prevailing WTO tenets that surround anti-dumping. 12 pgs. 22 f/c. 3b.
