Interest Groups and Political Parties: Germany and the United States
Between the government and the majority, another force comprising pressure or interest groups operate to influence government policies and decisions. This paper examines a binary relationship between political parties and interest groups. In the contexts of Germany and the United States, it examines a hypothesis that the more political parties the country has the less influence interest groups will have.
