Factors in the Collapse of State Powers. In Third World countries, state powers come and go, mostly through revolution. Instability among such governments is a common occurrence, one we read about continually in newspapers and view on the electronic media. In this paper, I will be examining this topic briefly, and also show that it is not always necessary to have a revolution to have a country and its economy collapse. 3 pgs.
