Contemporary Utilitarianism This essay will discuss Mark Timmon's view on contemporary utilitarnism as exampled in Chapter Six of his Book The Moral Concept: An Introduction. The use of right and wrong in the judging of a pragmatic act by Timmons is discussed. As are his criterion for rightness. A short summary is given with my opinon of the tenets held by Timmons.
