Development of Gender Specific Treatments in the Health Care System.
This paper examines the difference between the treatment of men and women within the health care system. It asserts that many popular drugs and therapies have been tested and generalized to men but not on women, at times to bad result. Women are indeed different than men. The paper asserts that there are two major changes to the health care system that can address this issue: the development of gender-specific medical treatments and the development of gender-specific drug therapies. 3 pgs.
