The Big Bow Mystery - A Locked Room Puzzle. This paper dissects Israel Zangwill's mystery novel The Big Bow Mystery and analyzes it in terms of other mystery-novel standards: logical consistency, character evenness, and distraction (e.g. "red herrings").
