This essay explores the deaths of Lucy and Dracula in Bram Stoker's novel, "Dracula." Stoker's gothic fiction presents the reader with a myriad of metaphors and symbols through which to understand the myth of vampires; however, significant themes include Christian redemption, and moral degeneration.
