This essay is a post-colonial analysis of Caribbean women, and provides an examination of identity issues in Caribbean literature written by women. In this paper, post-colonialism is discussed in-relation to feminism. The literature considered here is examined as a way to produce a strong theoretical argument that critically enables important questions of identity and culture in Caribbean contexts of women's writing. 13 pgs. 11 sources.
