Different Group Perspectives on Health and Illness: Fast Food
This paper argues that different groups view fast food and its impact in different ways. Health care professionals are strident about its long-term effects; the media is often too glib; and ordinary citizens are dangerously ignorant about the foods that take into their bodies. The paper takes a closer look at three instances or examples of where these perceptual differences can be found.
