Forestry Management Issues This paper discusses global forest management issues and the problems with forest certification evaluation models. All forestry NGO's adopt various certification evaluation models (i.e. hybrid performance and performance-based monitoring). The paper also discusses the need for a standardized evaluation model that all forestry NGO's must use. Standardizing these processes will increase certification efficiencies and improve the evaluation process through mandating a linear approach.
