Why Teach Physical Education In my different classes as I have prepared for my educational degree, I have learned that teaching physical education is one of most important classes that can be taught at the elementary level and should continue through high school. Why? It affects the lives of children and even continues to affect the lives of adults. Why? If children do not exercise, then they will not exercise as adults. The habit of exercise begins at an early age and continues often through oneÂ’s life. However, if the habit of exercise does not begin during childhood, then the habit of exercise is usually lacking as an adult.
