This paper presents and discusses five topics in the current literature on training: Online training, Video training, Expenses of training, Multi-skilling, and Motivation. All topics are given equal attention, and the paper is suited to be the basis of a presentation on the future of training in general. The presentation suggests future developments that might be made in the field of training linked to technology, psychology, and culture. It focuses on training in the corporate world, but is equally applicable to the nonprofit and academic sectors.
