Women began writing as early as the Victorian period and continue to bring new literature to the forefront. During the Victorian period, women were banned from expressing their feelings and using language to state their feelings even when writing novels. The early literature of women was more concerned with a message than the creation of fine literature. Using a variety of methods in expressing the importance of language in literature can be simple or as difficult as I want to make it. Using several tools to teach literature and language will help the students to understand different types of literature.
