Teaching Geometry in a Montessori Classroom This paper discusses methods to teach geometry in a Montessori classroom. Students usually a knowledge of simple geometric terms such as circles, lines, and squares. When they are between the ages of 6-9 they begin to want to know more about different objects. The best way to teach geometry is through using the child's creativity. The paper discusses how the child can use a measuring tape or ruler to learn the size of different objects.
