Lesson Plan Modification for African-American Learners
This paper provides a lesson plan focusing on classroom diversity and African-American students. African-American students tend to be subject to trends within the classroom which are not shared by white students. In an impoverished setting, such as in the inner city, African-American students frequently hail from homes in which fewer financial resources are available. In the affluent setting, such as the suburbs, the African-American student tends to be in the minority within the classroom.
