Environmental Economics This paper analyzes several documents concerning green tax reform, or the use of taxes and other economic instruments to raise money for environmental cleanup and to encourage companies to be more environmentally sensitive in the first place, showing how efforts to clean up the environment both in terms of preventing pollution at the source and to correct environmental damage from earlier problems have included the imposition of taxes by a number of countries.
