Criticism of the World Bank at the Turn of the 21st Century. This paper provides a critical history of the World Bank in relation with post-World War II global economies. It is argued here that the World Bank's influence in international economy is largely orchestrated to privilege capitalist economics, and in particular, American capitalist ideology regarding the distribution of wealth.
