Dworkin's critique of legal positivism in Law's Ambitions for Itself This paper will show that Dworkin's critique of legal positivism in "Law's ambitions for itself indeed succeeds even against Hart's account of positivism. However, it succeeds not so much because it removes all doubt about positivism, as it presents a more palatable and acceptable alternative to positivism, particularly with regard to community.
