This essay examines racism in Canada with an emphasis on First Nations peoples. Cultural and political history is discussed, as well as the justice system, and its relationship with First Nation peoples. Racism is institutionalized in Canada, and as such poses a difficult problem for erasing and for introducing the changes that might make a difference for non-whites in Canada. 5 pgs.
