Mike Harris' Election in Ontario. This essay discusses the election in June 1999 of Mike Harris' Conservative Party in Ontario. The Party got as big a share of the popular vote (45%) as it did in 1995. Since more people voted in the new election, it meant that the Tories attracted at least 150,000 new votes.
