This paper assesses the impact of FTA and NAFTA on Canadian industrial relations. More specifically it assesses changes in the government's role in industrial relations. It conclude that national government's have largely surrendered their autonomy and independence to transnational corporations and supra national bodies such as GATT and the World Bank. 14 pgs.
