Food Bank Use Climbing in Canada. This essay discusses how the poor continue to face hunger in Canada, despite the fact that they live in a major food exporting country. Large numbers of people approach food banks to feed themselves and their families. From a sociological perspective, this reality exists because the wealthy control the basic resources of the country.
