Ethnic Segregation and Social Stratification:The Chinese and the Jews of Toronto. This paper is an outline for a research proposal in Canadian studies. The topic of interest are the secularised communities of Chinese and Jewish immigrants to the city of Toronto, and an understanding of the process of cultural ghettos.
