Canada and the Migration of Skilled Workers. This paper examines Canada's brain drain--Emigration of skilled professionals, academics and computer workers, particularly to the United States. At the same time Canada admits more than 200,000 immigrants each year and many of these are educated, highly skilled, professionals.
