The Pancake House. This basic descriptive essay describes a restaurant called The Pancake House. Many people believe that a restaurant is a restaurant, but this is not true. I have been to many different restaurants in the United States, form the fanciest to the simplest and I have to say that the Pancake House is the best. The Pancake House is a family owned business that serves breakfast only. The restaurant is open Wednesday through Sunday and I often go out of my way to go as often as I can. The Pancake House is really more than a restaurant to me. It is like visiting home. The restaurant is located in an old house. The owner once told me that the home belonged to his grandfather and when the city rezoned the area commercial they turned it into a restaurant. However, being a small house it became a small restaurant. The Pancake House seats only about 50 people and often it is so crowded that the patrons have to take a number to be able to get a seat.
