Michael Bloomberg: His Life and Business Strategies In this paper, I will primarily discuss the autobiography Bloomberg by Bloomberg. Bloomberg wrote this book in 1997 with some assistance and remains one of the most definitive and illuminating texts on his experiences and strategies in the business realm. This paper will examine some of the business strategies Bloomberg employed during the course of his career. Throughout this paper, the particulars of BloombergÂ’s life will be illustrated as they were presented in his autobiography; a strict focus will be placed on examining his life in consideration of his business strategies, though my focus will fall mostly on events that occurred after his termination from Salomon Brothers, Inc. in 1981.
