Internal Auditing The story of Cynthia Cooper’s investigations (with some help from a her of her colleagues) of WorldCom provides a trenchant response to employees all over the country who are aware (or at least suspicious) that something is dodgy in their own firms but do not take action to uncover the problems because they are worried about their own jobs.
