A Comparison of Use and Applicability Between Macintosh and PC Systems in a Departmental Setting This paper provides a basic comparison of the Macintosh and the PC (e.g.: Microsoft) platforms for use in an educational department. The department assessed is a computer laboratory for student use. The inclusion of specific platforms within a departmental setting needs to be evaluated prior to the development and implementation processes.
