International Relations: Religion, Trade, and Human Rights Relations Between the United States of America and the Peoples Republic of China
This paper will analyze how China and the United States hold similar agreements on how labor should be used, and why it is important for the United States to outsource jobs to China. The profits made by American companies can create powerful corporate institutions that work in collusion with Chinese officials in getting lower wages for their investments. By understanding how the US continues to use cheaper foreign labor to build greater profits, we can understand why religion and human rights abuse issues seem to take a secondary focus when involved in international politics.
