Continuity, Change and Religious Beliefs in Nineteenth and Twentieth Century Korea. This paper is written about the continuity, change, and religious beliefs in the 19th and 20th Centuries. It can be observed in Encounter, The Moving Castle, and Words of Farewell that current religious beliefs are characterized as much by continuity as by change. Continuity and change are not paradoxical trends in Korean religious life because two cultures and two competing worldviews are maintained in a state of balance.
