A Mixed Assessment: The Han Empire under Emperor Wu-ti. This paper assesses the Han Empire under the Emperor Wu-ti and discusses the pros and cons. In the end, any assessment of Emperor's Wu-ti's reign is mixed. On the positive side, his innovations shaped the development of the imperial state for centuries, while his military achievements shaped the territorial geography of China.
